Meet your coach

We are each the sum of our total experience. Every conversation, experience, event, be it fact or fiction has brought you to this point in your life. Your life 's path to the here and now is as unique to you as you are to the world. (The Life Coaching Academy)

I mostly work with the following:

  1. Executives and managers ready to take their lives to the next level, professionally and personally. Professional people who feel inside them that they want something more.
  2. Entrepreneurs who are interested in starting their own business, write a book, commercialising, floating on the stock exchange, tapping global markets and thinking outside the square with their small or medium sized business
  3. Creative people who want to chase their dreams
  4. People wanting to find their true purpose, get more of a work / life balance, lift the priority of health and wellbeing in their lives and have an increased sense of fulfillment

I have enjoyed a varied business career with over 10 years experience in Australia and New Zealand in management positions and directorships. Along with being one of the youngest ever public company directors in Australia, I was fortunate to work as an executive director for an investment company and it was my role to study companies as potential investments and during that time I was exposed to a massive amount of entrepreneurs, managers and business ideas at all various stages in development.

It amazed me at how some people led an almost ideal lifestyle and ran things smoothly, used technology effectively, and how some people made a fraction of the money, worked twice as hard and had a life full of stress, worry and uncertainty. It also amazed me how the differences in attitudes made huge differences in these people's lives and businesses and how if someone possessed the right knowledge and mindset how much more of a success they could be.

I have a long track record of successfully building teams and improving processes, resulting in a happier and productive work environment, greater efficiency and profit generation.

Why did I become a coach?

I am a coach because I believe in coaching. On the outside it may have looked like I was successful. The apartment, the car, the job; however something was missing. Waking up in the morning was a struggle, I wondered why I was working so much, until I got my own coach and was asked "describe your perfect day." I really, really thought about the answer to that question and it took me on a journey to lead a more fulfilling life inline with my own personal values and interests.

I have always been interested in bringing the best out of people and have been personally coaching and mentoring people for several years. Whether you choose me or another coach, I recommend that you personally enjoy the amazing benefits of having a personal coach.

I currently coach a wide range of people from aspiring young executives to self-made multi-millionaires running their operations smoothly, profitably and with plenty of balance whilst being healthy and nurturing their important relationships.

I had an almost all female upbringing with a strong Mum and now five beautiful sisters, four Aunties, and more female cousins than fingers to count on so my natural personality tends to lend well to me working with female clients.

What makes me tick...

When asked about qualities defined my personal style a client mentioned: honest, warm and approachable, emphatic, motivated, high levels of understanding, sense of humour, respectful and confident.

On the personal side, a hobby of mine is dancing and I currently am training to compete in a lower level for fun at the IDSF World latin Championship in Melbourne at the 2008 Festival of Dance (more) and I also teach dance on a part-time basis. It keeps me fit and flexible and keeps my sense of determination well honed.

I plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in 2008 with my extremely inspirational Dad, dance at the Rio Carnival in Brasil in 2009 and have a crack at another 100 exciting goals on my list. You only live once! I also enjoy Bikram Yoga, which is yoga in a heated room, the first time you try it you think you could die, and also fitness and travel.

I love reading personal development materials and have lost count on the books I have read on motivation, goals, psychology, people skills, human behaviour, personal relationships, marketing, emotional intelligence and many others. I am also Adelaide's leading date coach.
